This is actually a fake letter, though inspiring, which is claimed to have been written by Abraham Lincoln to his son’s teacher. Many versions of this fake letter are available on the internet. The real author of this poem is not known. However, it encapsulates some of the fundamental values of education that needs to be inculcated into every child. I have tried to translate one such version into Hindi. Enjoy.
